The Aurora Table Tennis Club has long been a driving force in promoting table tennis in the Denver, CO area. Under the strong leadership of Chris Salazar as President, the club has seen record growth over the last three years.

During this time the club has grown to more than 60 active players and has been able to purchase 13 new Butterfly Tables as well as a Newgy Robot. In addition, Salazar, with the help of Ken Lieu, hand built the high quality table surrounds the club now enjoys.

The club meets every Thursday evening from 6-9 pm and on Sundays from 12-5 pm at the Beck Recreation Center in Aurora, CO. They run a number of varied programs on Thursdays, alternating between training groups for all levels and league play. The training groups are conducted by USATT National Coach Richard McAfee. Sundays are open play days with two tables reserved for private lessons from former World Champions and U.S. Team Coaches, Li Zhenshi and Zhang Li. We are proud of our rising junior stars— including U.S. Junior Team Member, John Leach (2380), highly ranked Yahao Zhang (2267), and Austin Preiss (2001).

We would like to thank the many volunteers who contribute so much to making our club successful as well as our sponsors: The Aurora Recreation Department, Butterflyonline.com, Newgy.com, Cheapo Disks, and Costco.

The Denver Area is a great place to live and work and to play Table Tennis. Our Club would like to invite anyone visiting the Mile High City to come by and join us. For more information please see our website.
