One North American Remains in Competition

The USA women’s doubles team consisting of Gao Jun and Wang Chen advanced to the Round of 16. Although defeated there by the second seed from China, the future looks bright for Team USA Women! In the Women’s Singles event, Wang Chen defeated Park Mi Young (KOR), 4-1, in the Round of 32. She faces Daniela Dodean of Romania in the Round of 16.
