All events fill VERY fast!!! Entry forms are processed in order received in the mail. It takes approx. 3 weeks to hear back from us (since we - family Babuin - are volunteers and have many other commitments). Confirmations are e-mailed so give a legible email please.

THURSDAY 3/18/2010
4-5pm FREE training clinic for beginners - sign up DIRECTLY with the Town of Cary in January http://www.classweb.townofcary.org/ or contact Bond Park directly in December onwards for more details.


FRIDAY 3/19/2010
Hardbat - 10am-3pm on Friday - 'B' gym. $40/player
(Round robin snake seeded with some geographical separation) 32 players are snake seeded into 4 groups of 8 players with 3 tables per group.
The top player of each group progressing to final round of 4. Open to absolute beginners through to advanced players. Read the hardbat equipment details carefully!

Hardbat prizes =
1st place Trophy & $250,
2nd place Trophy & $150,
3rd place Trophy & $50,
4th place trophy

Over 1800 event - 3pm-9pm on Friday - Gym ‘A’ - $40/player
(Round robin snake seeded with some geographical separation)
32 players are snake seeded into 4 groups of 8 players with 3 tables per group.
The top player of each group progressing to final round of 4.
Over 1800 Prizes
1st place $600 & Trophy
2nd place $400 & Trophy
3rd place $200 & Trophy
4th place $100 & Trophy.

Under 1800 event 3:30pm-9pm on Friday - 'B' gym. - $40/player
(Round robin snake seeded with some geographical separation)
32 players are snake seeded into 4 groups of 8 players with 4 tables per group.
The top player of each group progressing to final round of 4.
Under 1800 PRIZES:
1st place Trophy & $250
2nd place Trophy & $150
3rd place Trophy & $50

Players cannot enter U1350 event IF entering in the U1800 event

Under 1350 event 4pm-9pm on Friday - Breakout rooms ‘C’ & ‘D’ - $40/player
(Round Robin snake seeded with some geographical separation)
32 players are snake seeded into 4 groups of 8 players with 2 tables per group.
The top player of each group progressing to final round of 4.
Under 1350 PRIZES:
1st place Trophy
2nd place Trophy
3rd place Trophy
4th place Trophy
Players cannot enter Under 1800 event IF entering in the U1350 event


SATURDAY 3/20/2010
Main Event (over 1100) starts 9am
Saturday in 'A' & 'B' gyms, 'C' & 'D' breakout rooms with champions' finals on Sunday 9:30am - 3pm.
128 players maximum.

Round 1 - 9am start -128 players snake seeded into 32 groups of 4.
(Round robin snake seeded with some geographical separation)
Players all advance into one of 4 divisions (A, B, C, D) depending on their play results in round 1.

Round 2 - approx noon start – 4 divisions, each division has 4 subgroups, each subgroup has 8 players
(round robin snake seeded with some geographical separation)
The top player from each round 1 group advances into A group, 2nd into B group, 3rd in C group and 4th into D group. Each divisions has 4 subgroups of 8 players (A division = A1, A2, A3, A4, B division = B1, B2, B3.....etc).
Top 4 players from each ‘A’ division subgroup (of 8) advance, to ‘A’ finals.
Top player from each ‘B’ division subgroup (of 8) advance to ‘B’ finals
Top player from each ‘C’ division subgroup (of 8) advance to ‘C’ finals
Top player from each ‘D’ division subgroup (of 8) advance to ‘D’ finals

Round 3 – MAIN EVENT FINALS
FOR B, C, D divisions – Saturday approx 6pm start –
The top player (just 1) from each subgroup in round 2 group advances to their division’s round robin finals of 4 starting directly after round 2
Trophies for 1st -4th ‘B’ division,
Trophies for 1st -4th ‘C’ division,
Trophies for 1st - 4th ‘D’ division


SUNDAY 9:30am – 3pm
FOR ‘A’ DIVISION Cary Cup Champion finals – SUNDAY 9:30am – 3pm
The top 4 players from EACH subgroup in round 2 advance to the champions single elimination finals on SUNDAY
1x 1st place - trophy and $3000
1x Finalist - trophy and $1500
2x Semi finalists - trophy and $700 each
4x Quarter Finalists - trophy and $300 each
8x Eigth Finalists - trophy and $200 each

Other Prizes
• 1x Top woman in main event $100
• 1x Top Under 18 year old in main event $100

MAIN EVENT FEES = $95 or $70
$95 = standard rate
$70 = using a discount option (1 or 2 below)
