REGION 6 SUMMARY

Region 6 saw 21 participants from 7 schools participate at the University of Central Florida campus. Schools represented were: Florida International University, Valdosta State University, Darton College, Georgia State University, Georgia Tech, Florida State University and University of Central Florida. In the women's competition, unfortunately only two women showed up with Aparna Chandramowlishwar from Georgia Tech downing Hong Nguyen from Georgia State.

The men's final eight is very competitive with several universities represented and several interesting styles, loopers, blockers, lobbers and even a seemiller grip. The finals of the men features FSU's number 1 player former Panamanian International, Andres Ng versus hometown host University of Central Florida's number one player, Dave Llona. Llona features his own grip that is closest to Seemiller and Ng is a Chinese Panamanian with a Korean Penhold grip. Both men displayed why they are the top of their schools with Ng beating Llona to claim the Region 6 title.
