Courtesy of ITTF No longer is years, months or days; it is hours until the torch is lit to ignite action in the first ever Youth Olympic Games, some 3,600 talented young athletes between the ages of 14 and 18 from around the world are awaiting the Opening Ceremony in Singapore with baited breath. It is a special occasion, it is the big stage and one player who is certainly used to competing in the spotlight is Ariel Hsing from the United States of America.

Not only has she appeared in the H.I.S. World Championships in Yokohama in 2009 and the Liebherr World Team Championships in 2010, she has also played against the rich and famous.

In 2005, when nine years old she was invited to Warren Buffet’s 75th birthday party where she played both Warren Buffet and Bill Gates.

Warren Edward Buffett is one of the most successful investors in the world; he was ranked as the world's wealthiest person in 2009 and is currently the third wealthiest!

Meanwhile, of course the name Bill Gates is synonymous with the computer revolution; he is the Chairman of the software giant Microsoft.

No doubt the experience of playing against two of the world’s most wealthiest men with prove valuable in Singapore, she will not be overawed by an occasion that will receive television coverage globally and will be broadcast on-line as well as being available on youtube, facebook, twitter and all modern methods of communication.
