Open Champion: Barney Reed Jr (Green Shirt) in his ready stance
It was the right time and the right place for Barney Reed Jr. who took the Champion title at the USA Valley Table Tennis Tournament on Saturday 7 August 2010. Mr. Reed Jr demonstrated excellent table tennis skill along with great sportsmanship and sense of humor in front of many spectators and Pong Masters. The victory path to championship was not easy for Reed Jr who had to play against Thilina Piyadasa in the final.
The location for the tournament was perfect for visitors and players. Mary Lieu and her sponsors, Mr. and Mrs. Donon Zilbermintz, illustrated great definitions of generosity and hospitality in the name of table tennis. Thanks to all participants and congratulations to all winners!
