Q: Who are some of your past and present students and their greatest accomplishment?
A: 
  • Mark Hazinski – U.S. Team member, 2001 and 2003
  • Joe Cochran – U.S. Cadet Team member 2003
  • Jared Lynch – 2300 rated
  • Rick Seemiller – 5-time U.S. Team member
  • A.J. Brewer – Current #2 u-10 in U.S.

Q: How often do you coach ?
A: Six days a week.

Q: What area of coaching would you consider to be a strength ?
A: looping and mental strategy.

Q: If your students could only remember one thing, what would you want it to be ?
A: To loop

Q: As a coach, what has been your proudest moment thus far ?
A: Mark Hazinski making the 2001 U.S. Team at the age of 15.

Q: What are your feelings on the 40mm ball?
A: Hasn’t changed anything.

Q: How has this affected your approach to coaching?
A: No change.

Q: What are your feelings on the 11-point game?
A: like it very much. More drama and deuce games.

Q: How has this affected your approach to coaching?
A: Fight harder, sooner and keep focused.

Q: What are your feelings on the hidden service rule?
A: Agree with it.

Q:  How has this affected your approach to coaching ?
A: More practice on serving.

Q: If you could change one thing about table tennis it would be ?
A: Raise the net to 6-1/2 inches.

Q: How did you get started playing table tennis and how old were you?
A: 11 yrs. Old; played at home with my brothers.

Q: What hobbies do you have?
A: Sports

Q: What is your favorite movie?
A: October Sky

Q: What is your favorite TV show?
A: Seinfeld

A: Spaghetti

Q: What is your favorite sport outside of table tennis?
A: Golf
