September 30, Markham, ON - No surprises at the Butterfly Ontario Open. Eugene Wang (Men's Singles) and Sara Yuen (Women's Singles) took top honors. The Junior Boys Singles saw Hongkong's Ka Tak Hung's on the top of the podium, while Charlotte cary of Wales won the JR18 Girls Singles.

As a warm-up to the Scotiabank Canadian Open, the Butterfly Ontario Open opened the 2012 Canada Series competitions. Canada's top players were in action with over $ 4,000 prize-money at stake.
