Unbeaten on the opening day of play, the partnership of Hong Kong's Lam Yee Lok and Charlotte Carey of Wales, continued their winning ways on the second day of action, Wednesday October 3, 2012, at the Scotiabank Canadian Junior and Cadet Open in Markham.

In a group competition they overcame the Canada 1 pair of Anqi Luo and Li Quan Ly to keep title hopes very much alive.

Meanwhile, in the Cadet Girls' Team event where matters are organized on a group phase followed by single elimination; Guyana's Chelsea Edghill and Korea's Ku Kyojin booked their place in the final, as did the Puerto Rican combination of Adriana Diaz and Lineris Rivera.

Lam Yee Lok in Form
A three-one success was the order of the day for the top seeded outfit of Lam Yee Lok and Charlotte Carey in opposition to the top Canadian partnership of Li Quan Ly and Anqi Luo.

Mainstay of the success was Lam Yee Lok.

She beat Li Quan Ly (11-7, 11-4, 11-5) and Anqi Luo (11-9, 11-9, 11-8), while partnering Charlotte Carey to a doubles win over Li Wuan Ly and Anqi Luo (10-12, 11-7, 11-7, 6-11, 11-9).

One Home Win
The one win for the Canadians came in the second match of the fixture; Anqi Luo overcame Charlotte Carey in a full distance five games contest (7-11, 11-7, 13-15, 12-10, 11-6).

Same Scoreline
A three-one margin of victory and that was the same score line in both Cadet Girls' Team semi-finals with Ku Kyojin and Adriana Diaz the players to steer their teams to victory; both remained unbeaten.

Ku Kyojin Unbeaten
In the contest against the partnership of Canada's Liu Jiabao and Crystal Wang from the United States; Ku Kyojin beat Liu Jiabao (6-11, 11-9, 13-15, 11-6, 11-4) and Crystal Wang (12-10, 11-9, 12-10), while partnering Chelsea Edghill to doubles success over Liu Jiabao and Crystal Wang (11-7, 11-6, 11-8).

The one success for the vanquished was recorded by Crystal Wang; in the opening match of the fixture, she beat Chelsea Edghill in three straight games (13-11, 11-7, 11-9).

Adriana Diaz Wins Nail-Biter
A fine effort from Ku Kyojin, it was the same from Adriana Diaz.

She accounted for Catherine Dauplaise (11-8, 3-11, 11-7, 3-11, 11-9) and Isabel Chu in a nail-biting five games duel (11-13, 14-16, 13-11, 11-8, 11-9), while teaming with Lineris Rivera to overcome Isabel Chu and Catherine Dauplaise (11-8, 4-11, 11-8, 9-11, 11-6) in a four match victory, over the Canadians who formed the outfit ITTF-North America.

The one win for ITTF-North America came from Isabel Chu; in the second match of the fixture, she defeated Lineris Rivera (11-6, 11-5, 17-15).
