Angelo Gandullia

The weekend of July 21st and 22nd The Colorado State Games for Table Tennis took place in the City Auditorium of Colorado Springs, CO.

It was a long weekend of fun and good table tennis organized by Larry Rose, who did a great job.

Angelo Gandullia and Richard McAfee, playing together for the first time, won the Silver Medal for the Elite Doubles Open. Scott and Austin Preiss took Gold in a tight finals match that ended 3 - 1.

Angelo Gandullia is the new State Champion, winning the Elite Singles Open by beating Austin Preiss in the semi-finals (3 - 1) and Phong Pham in the finals (3 - 0).

A special mention goes to Angelo's students: Ariel Sanchez, Gold in Under 1700; Yoko Wilcox, Silver in Recreational Singles Senior 40+, Bronze in Recreational Singles Open, and teaming up with Lisa Breashears, Bronze for both in Recreational Doubles Open.
