Table Tennis News & Videos

By Francisco Mendez
Colorado - Twenty seven players, fifteen different countries represented, players with ratings ranges from 1200 to 2100 points, 107 matches total!
This time I organize it with two stages. I used the combined system for the first stage, mixing all levels in four groups to give the lower level players the opportunity to play higher level players.
Still, there were some close matches and upsets.
For the second stage I had all the first places of each group playing for the Elite Championship, the second places of each group fighting for the A Division award, thirds for B Division, then the rest of the players played a Single elimination draw for the C Division title.

I have to congratulate all players, for their enthusiasm, the passion and intensity they put when playing, my admiration to Scott Preiss for finishing unbeaten, with a perfect 9-0 record, he is playing better and better, a spectacular game. Michael Jaynes had a great tournament, he played the longest match against Oscar Barrenechea, 52 minutes long! Carlos Pinzon had his best tournament too, Dave Vollmar played terrific, Mrs Yoko Wilcox is the sweetest lady, everyone loves her, I could mention each player, everyone played great!
Thanks to Butterfly, for being the best Table Tennis company of the world and promote Table Tennis at all levels!
