CAMPS & CLINICS

Triangle Table Tennis CAMPS are designed for beginning level students. Camps teach the history and rules of the sport (racquets, balls, points), basic skills such as how to properly grip the racquet, basic strokes, application of strokes, when to use one technique versus another. Students listen, observe, learn, and then try out what they have been taught. Camps have a minimum of 4 participants, with a maximum 8:1 student/staff ratio.

Triangle Table Tennis CLINICS are designed for intermediate level participants. Our clinics expand upon (or if necessary, provide correction and adjustment to) previously learned knowledge of techniques and skills. Instruction will include footwork, strokes, drills, serves, strategy, and refinement of techniques. Overall emphasis is upon developing sound basic skills, and honing those skills to a higher level of consistency. Clinics have a minimum of 4 participants, with a maximum 8:1 student/staff ratio.

TRACK OUT YOUTH CAMP
5 days/1 week, ages 7- 14 years;
Daily Monday through Friday from 12:30pm until 3:30pm
This five-day camp requires no previous table tennis experience. It provides engaging and fun afternoons, and motivates youth as they experience table tennis fundamentals. The camp is led by experienced coaches using a combination of lessons, practice matches, drills, and open play. Our experienced coaches adapt the core curriculum to meet the needs and abilities of the individuals within each camp. Young players will soon begin to improve hand to eye coordination, develop muscle memory, and understand fundamental strokes. Additionally, they will gain a deeper understanding of the rules and etiquette of table tennis through structured play. On Monday through Thursday, young players will witness top players demonstrate high speed play, and have an opportunity to play with a pro for “bragging rights!” Each Friday, camp week culminates with the opportunity to play in round robin or single elimination format camp tournament with small prizes given to all participants.
