The Hopes Program is one of many ITTF development initiatives targeting Global Reach and Overall Growth of Table Tennis. The number one goal is to encourage National Associations not only to start with professionally managed Talent Identification Programs, but also to promote and work with young talented players for future success and growth.

U.S. won the 1st place in both Boys and Girls events at the 2015 ITTF NA Hopes Challenge. Nikhil Kumar and Rachel Sung got the only boys and girls’ spot for North America to compete in the 2015 ITTF World Hopes Weeks and Challenge in Shanghai next month. Only 16 boys and 16 girls in six continents through the qualification processes will be eligible for the event.
