2017 Slovenia Junior and Cadet Open updates
The tournament in Slovenia is over. Victor and Nikhil won a Bronze in the Junior Doubles in addition to the two medals in the Teams. However, we did not do as well as we expected in the Singles events. Although all four players made to the main draw, the best result was Amy Wang’s quarterfinals appearance while Victor Liu stopped at 8’s. In any case, it is a good experience for our players and myself. I’m proud of all our players. While they did well in many areas, we definitely can improve on others.
Tomorrow, we will all participate in the ITTF Rough Diamonds Training Camp (September 25 – Oct 3). I’m sure we will be further polished.
