Question: Hi, If I want to use for my forehand a Tenergy 05 and for my backhand a Tenergy 64 or Tenergy 64-FX, which blade is more suitable with these rubbers, the Butterfly Viscaria or the Butterfly Innerforce ZLC? And what is the difference between the Tenergy 05-FX and the Tenergy 05, and between the Tenergy 64 and the Tenergy 64-FX?

Answer: Hi Hrawi,

Thanks for your question and interest in Butterfly equipment.

I recommend for you to try the Innerforce ZLC blade, with Tenergy 05 on your forehand and Tenergy 64 for your backhand. The Innerforce ZLC is slightly faster and has a little softer touch than the Viscaria. This will fit well with the mentioned Tenergy rubbers.

The difference between the the regular Tenergy and the Tenergy FX version is the density of the sponge. The FX versions of Tenergy are made 4 degrees softer and are 5% lighter in weight, which makes the feel of the rubber softer. The softer feel provides more control, which makes it easier to generate spin with.

To have the best understanding about the Tenergy series, you can also check the following video which will provide you with a complete explanation.

Hope you enjoy your new racket.
