Butterfly Table Tennis Question and Answer

Question:

I am an amateur athlete. He used a classineta racket. I recently bought a VISCARIA classic racket three months ago. I tested the Timo Boll ALC racket (borrach Tenergy 05 and Dignics 05. Just like my Viscaria) recently and noticed it had excellent control, better than Viscaria. I would like to know which erasers to use in Viscaria to have a control like Timo Boll ALC, plus excellent effect / speed. If I have to choose, I prefer the effect (top spin) to be greater than the speed.
Despite playing for leisure for a long time (I’m 53 years old), but I consider myself a beginner player, as I’ve never followed the training routine at a club. I recently joined a club and my goal is to improve my performance/technique and participate in tournaments.

Your Ask the Experts question was answered by Shahin Akhlaghpasand. Coach Akhlaghpasand is an ITTF Level 1 Coach and a Coach at the Austin Table Tennis Club and his response is as follows:
Hi Julio,

Based on your level and as you are interested in preserving your blade, I suggest that you use Rozena for a period of 4 months. This will help you with proper control and spin on your blade until you feel enough control and consistency over the ball. Then we can guide it you to the next step .

Regards,

Coach Shahin
