Butterfly Extends Partnership With Major League Table Tennis Through the 2026–2027 Season

Butterfly Americas and Tamasu Co., Ltd., manufacturer and distributor of table tennis products under the Butterfly brand, is pleased to announce the extension of its official sponsorship agreement with Major League Table Tennis (MLTT) through Season 5, covering the upcoming three seasons (2025-2028).

World-class equipment brand continues as Official Sponsor as MLTT accelerates U.S. expansion

Butterfly will continue to serve as MLTT’s Official Equipment Sponsor, providing premium tables, balls, net sets and player apparel for all league matches and events. The renewal builds on a successful partnership launched in 2023 during MLTT’s inaugural season and reflects both organizations’ commitment to growing professional table tennis across the U.S.

Butterfly has been with us since day one, and their commitment to quality and performance has elevated the MLTT experience for players and fans alike,” said Flint Lane, Founder and Commissioner of MLTT. “We’re thrilled to continue working together as we expand our national footprint and bring the best of table tennis to more markets across the country.”

“Since its launch in September 2023, Major League Table Tennis has captivated table tennis fans with its unique competition format and high-level play.” said Takako Osawa, President and Managing Director of Tamasu Co., Ltd. “We at Butterfly are honored to have contributed to MLTT’s growing success and rising prominence as an official sponsor, including the design and supply of team-specific uniforms. In line with our corporate philosophy of spreading joy throughout the world with table tennis,’ we will continue to support MLTT and table tennis in the United States.”

MLTT is coming off a breakout 2024–2025 season and is gearing up for Season 3 (2025–2026) with momentum, including a national TV deal with CBS Sports, the addition of new teams in New York, Los Angeles, and Atlanta, and a growing roster of internationally ranked stars. With 10 teams now competing across the country, MLTT is redefining what professional table tennis looks like in North America.

Butterfly, a global leader in table tennis since 1950, is trusted by elite players and national federations around the world. The brand’s continued partnership with MLTT ensures that every match is played on the same world-class equipment used in top-tier international competition.
