BUTTERFLY FAVORITES: Anton Kallberg’s 10 Best Bundesliga Points

This is a 2019 video posted by Tischtennis Bundesliga. It is a Top 10 list of Anton Kallberg’s best points in the German Bundesliga. Kallberg is World No. 57 and he plays for perennial power Borussia Dusseldorf along with Timo Boll, Sharath Kamal Achanta and Krystian Karlsson.

Kallberg has great technique and his best points often involve precise ball placement and an inside out rotation. You’ll see in the videos, his backhand ball down the line often moves away from the middle of the table and his strongest forehands are often inside out loops that curve wide of the other player’s backhand.

Kallberg won the most recent Dusseldorf Masters event, joining an elite group of six of Europe’s best who have won Masters events in June and July.

Anton Kallberg uses an Apolonia ZLC blade with Dignics 09c on his forehand and Dignics 05 on his backhand.
