Outerforce Blades Overview

Posted on

(by: Logan Rietz)

The new Outerforce series of blades aims to bridge the gap between a traditional Outerfiber orientation and the Innerfiber style.

In an effort to make Outerfiber blades more accessible, this new line is made with a low-density wood and offers a shorter trajectory, reducing overhitting errors while maintaining decent speed.  With this new range of options, players can truly choose the blade that fits their game best.

  • Outerforce CAF – For those that like an all-wood blade feel and want to play close to the table, the Outerforce CAF fits the bill.  It offers excellent control and could also be a great option for a player’s first blade.
  • Outerforce ALC – Players seeking a bit more speed and play from mid-distance would be well-suited with the Outerforce ALC.  This blade is easier to handle than a traditional ALC, giving great stability without sacrificing too much power.
  • Outerforce ZLC – Anyone that likes to play from farther back with excellent stability should consider using the Outerforce ZLC.  As with the others, a slightly tempered version of a traditional ZLC is easier to control without losing all the ZLC-fueled power.

Each of these new blades achieves a wonderful balance of stability and reaction, perfect for players that are ready to move on from their first/entry-level blade.
