Puerto Rican dominance in the Caribbean Table Tennis Championship

The Puerto Rican delegation added 10 gold medals and 28 medals in total in the U-15 and U-19 category competitions.

The Puerto Rican delegation that competed in the Caribbean Table Tennis Championships in the Cadet (Under-15) and Junior (Under-19) categories exhibited total dominance by winning 28 medals in the event, distributed in 10 gold, 7 silver and 11 bronze, reported the Puerto Rican Table Tennis Federation.

The event was held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Puerto Rico also won the Global Champion Cup by accumulating an amazing total score of 3,100 points.

The delegation was made up of 16 athletes and each one won at least one medal, the Federation reported.

The Puerto Rican team modality won three of the four gold medals played in the event.
