Steven Moreno, achieves the Category-13 Championship in the WTT Youth Contender Cuenca in Ecuador.  Meanwhile, Enrique Ríos was runner-up in U-13.

En route to the title, in the round robbin group stage, he also finished undefeated by disposing of his opponents, Gianluca Dongo of Peru, Carlos Sobarzo of Ecuador and Martin Murillo of Ecuador all 3-0.

Then in the single elimination phase, in the first round I got a bye, in the second round Steven defeated Pablo Chicaiza from Ecuador 3-0 and in the second round Steven defeated Boris Néstor Villavicencio from Ecuador 3-0.  In the semifinals, Steven beat Alexander Tejada of the Dominican Republic 3-0.  Finally, in the match for the Championship Steven beat Enrique 3-1 with partials of 11-7, 11-6, 9-11 and 11-9.
