The No. 1 MLTT Draft Pick Was….

With the first pick of the 2024 MLTT Draft…

…the Florida Crocs selected England’s Liam Pitchford!

He follows France’s Enzo Angles, who was the No. 1 overall pick by the Carolina Gold Rush in the league’s inaugural draft in 2023, and who subsequently went on to be named the league’s Men’s MVP for the 2023-24 season.

Pitchford’s pedigree is impressive, and it had to be considering the draft field he was up against. Over 300 players from 53 countries registered for the second draft in MLTT history, showcasing the league’s rapid growth and awareness on the international stage.

2024 Paris Olympics

  • 🇨🇦 Mo Zhang (Chicago Wind) qualified for her fifth Olympic Games via the ITTF Americas Qualification Tournament in Lima, Peru.
  • 🇨🇺 Andy Pereira (Bay Area Blasters), who made his first Olympic appearance at the London 2012 Games, also qualified for Paris in Peru.

2024 USATT Southeast Championship

  • 🇷🇴 Alex Cazacu (Chicago Wind) won the men’s open, while 🇵🇱 Daniel Gorak (Florida Crocs) took second.

Butterfly Houston Spring Giant Round Robin

🇺🇸 Daniel Tran (Chicago Wind) took second overall in Singles Division A.
