(by Raymon (Zhaowei) Zhang)

The 2024 Canadian National Championship was completed. The Three10 TTC had 17 competitors, making it the club’s largest event!

The players constantly surprised the coaching staff. The coaches and players shared many fantastic moments! These are sights that I’ll never forget!

Jessie Xu won three gold medals in single events: women’s single, U19 girls, and U17 girls. She also won a gold medal with her team in the U19 Girls Team event, as well as two bronze medals in Mixed Doubles with partner David Xu (Three10 TTC) and Women’s Doubles with Ching Nam Fu (The True North Table Tennis Centre). Jessie Xu was named “Athlete of the Year” by Table Tennis Canada.

Cindy Zhu became the U11 Girls Singles Champion, and she also helped her U13 Girls Team win the Gold Medal.

Sunny Zhang won the Bronze medal in U15 Girls Singles. Together with her partner Ruoyan Yang, they finished third in Women’s Doubles and were crowned Champions U15 Girls Team.

Jaelen Chen won the Silver medal while competing for the U15 Boys Team.

The Three10 Table Tennis Club coaching staff is incredibly proud of the accomplishments and hard work of their athletes! Well done!
