(by Steve Hopkins)

The Alameda Ping Pong Gym is a club in the Bay Area. With its location on Lincoln Avenue, the Alameda Ping Pong Gym is conveniently located for players on the East side of San Francisco Bay.  Alameda is a city on Alameda Island just one mile South of downtown Oakland.  Lincoln Avenue has easy access to the 880 Nimitz Freeway and to public transportation including Oakland’s Fruitvale Station which is about 2 miles from the club.

The club offers 10 tables and lots of room in their well-lit space.  There are club hours every day with Wednesday and Sunday Round Robin events.  Youth group lessons are Saturday mornings and they have after school programs for kids Monday through Saturday each week.  Advanced group and individual lessons are available as well.

Check their website for the latest camps information – or to sign up for their 2-Star Winter Open (Feb 17-18).
