(by Steve Hopkins)

Fremont Table Tennis Academy (FTTA) has locations in both Fremont and San Ramon. Regular tournaments, open play, and coaching options are all features of FTTA.  The club locations provide plenty of hours (morning, afternoon, and evening).  They have facilities open 6 days each week. Group and private table-tennis lessons are available for all levels and ages.  All levels are welcome.

FTTA provides a premier location to play table tennis that is easily accessible to San Jose in the Southern part of San Francisco Bay as well as the other major cities that surround the Bay.  The Fremont location is on Warm Springs Blvd., sandwiched between the 680 and 880.  The facility is a USATT National Center of Excellence.  The Fremont Table Tennis Academy Tri-Valley Branch is on San Ramon Valley Blvd. in San Ramon.

National level coach, Shashin Shodhan leads the academy coaching programs at FTTA.  He has represented the US at the North American Olympic Trials, and has trained and competed internationally in China, Sweden, and Germany.  As a junior, he was a member of the US Junior National Team, winning a variety of titles and accolades along the way.
