WAB FEATURED CLUB: San Antonio Table Tennis Club

The San Antonio Table Tennis Club is located at 13107 Lookout Run, just Northeast of downtown San Antonio off of I-35.  The club has twelve tables in an 8,000 square foot facility with a locker room area and players lounge.

Club activities include a ladder for competitive play among beginners, a monthly beginner’s tournament, and a free monthly coaching session.  The club features four USATT certified coaches, with coaching options available daily. Club coaches include Vlad Farcas and Cyril Mayeux.  There is a youth program that meets every other Thursday (at 6p).  The club is open Monday – Friday from 2p-10p , Saturday from 1p-8p, and Sunday from 1p-6p.

The club’s next tournament is the 2022 San Antonio March Madness Teams.  It is a USATT sanctioned event with $2,000 in cash prizes.  Info is available at the club website and at omnipong.

The SATTC is a diverse group.  Members include males and females, ages 10-90, a dozen nationalities, students, retirees, and everything between.  Whether you are playing for recreation or seriously pursuing table tennis as an Olympic sport, this club in San Antonio has options for you.
