Butterfly Table Tennis Question and Answer

Question:

what’s the difference between Timo Boll ALC and Timo Boll ZLC blades?

Answer:

Di Yu

Your Ask the Experts question was answered by Di Yu. He is a Senior/Elite Coach in Morrisville, NC.

Hi Bikash,

 Timo Boll ALC:

It will be better for defensive players because you can feel the ball stay on the racket longer. If you like to play many rounds during the game, this one is for you. Also it has a good offensive power.

 Timo Boll ZLC:

If you are an attacker, this racket will make your return faster and it also has good control. You will feel that the ball stays on the racket and the racket‘s vibration is not that long.

You can choose these two rackets according to your situation. I noticed you are using Tenergy 05  for both sides. I like Tenergy but for the backhand I recommend Dignics 05. It is the latest product launched by Butterfly based on current table tennis techniques. I’m using it for more than six months and my feeling is that it can be used longer than Tenergy. You do not need to use too much power to spin the ball or hitting the ball. Just find the right timing and the response will surprise you.
