Butterfly – Official Ball Partner for ITTF World Para Elite 2025

A new era for Para Table Tennis! Supporting Para players around the world.

Tamasu Co., Ltd. (Butterfly) to serve as the Official Ball Partner for ITTF World Para Elite 2025, the highest level of the newly launched ITTF World Para Circuit.

The ITTF World Para Circuit is a new initiative announced by ITTF to usher in a new era in Para Table Tennis. More than 20 events are scheduled globally in 2025, and the ITTF World Para Circuit will connect Para players and fans worldwide. Players will compete within a three-tier structure: Future, Challenger, and Elite. Butterfly will provide the Butterfly Three-Star Ball R40+ for the Elite events where top players gather to showcase their ultimate competition.

Takako Osawa, President and Managing Director of Tamasu Co., Ltd., commented, Butterfly has long supported Para table tennis, and we are honored to contribute to this exciting new circuit by providing the official ball of Elite Events that will enhance the performance of the sport’s top players.

With high precision, a constant bounce and reliable trajectory, the new Butterfly Three Star R40+ Ball, now in its third generation of constant improvement, fulfills any expectation a player might ask of his or her equipment.

 

The Butterfly R40+ has been selected as the official ball for the following events:

  • 2026 ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals London
  • 2025 ITTF World Para Elite
  • 2025 ITTF World Table Tennis Championships Finals Doha
  • 2024 ITTF Pan American Championships
  • 2024 ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals Busan
  • 2024 Pan Am Cup
  • Official Ball of Major League Table Tennis
