The Carolina Gold Rush hope to strike gold a second time, having won the 2025 MLTT Cup just a few months ago. The Carolina Gold Rush have been one of the strongest teams in their Division since their founding in 2023. This year that division will include the New York Slice, Princeton Revolution, Florida Crocs, and Atlanta Blazers.
Led by team captain Enzo Angles and Women’s MVP Hong Lin, Carolina was the season leader in the East Division. The team defeated the Bay Area Blasters in the Semifinals and then took out the defending champion Texas Smash in the Final.
This year, Shigang Yang will be the coach. The roster in 2025 will feature Enzo Angles, Kai Zhang, Edward Ly, Eugene Wang, Wei Wang, Siu Hang Lam, Chen Sun, and Mohamed Shouman.
With MLTT’s new TV deal with CBS Sports, the league is reaching a broader audience. This is the perfect time for this team to make its pitch to be repeat champion.
