MLTT WEEK 7 IS HERE! You ready for Pleasanton? 🏓

(by: Major League Table Tennis)

Are you ready for more table tennis, Pleasanton?

We’re back in the Bay for our third-ever event at the Alameda County Fairgrounds this weekend for an epic slugfest. All four teams competing this weekend were semifinalists in Season 1. And all four teams have something to prove to start 2025 off right.

Will four-time Olympian Lily Zhang spark a surge in her hometown Bay Area Blasters? Or will the Texas Smash continue to reign supreme over the West Division? In the East, can Princeton dig out from third place? And can any team hand the Carolina Gold Rush their first team loss of Season 2?

Show up in person and find out for yourself. Tap the big red tickets button below to secure your seats — while we still have ’em.

Yup, that’s Steph Curry sporting an MLTT hat 🧢

Some old friends caught up in San Francisco this week. No big deal.

That’s right: Lily Zhang and Amy Wang caught up with Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry after their run-in at the Opening Ceremonies at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

Remember: That run in sparked a table tennis challenge from Lily to Steph’s teammate and Minnesota Timberwolves frontman Anthony Edwards.

We’re still waiting to make good on that challenge. In the meantime, watch all three legends catch up after the Warriors’ January 7 game vs. the Miami Heat at the Chase Center.

Think you’re good? Sign up for Season 3! ✍️

We’re recruiting more than just NBA superstars to our roster here at MLTT.

Player registration for the 2025 MLTT Draft is now officially open. We’re receiving applications to play in our expanding league from now until March 9.

The MLTT Draft process blew up last year, with over 300 draft applicants from 53 countries throwing their paddles in the ring. It brought us Season 2 stars like Liam Pitchford, Manu Lebesson, Mo Zhang, and Taehyun Kim, among others.

Think you’re good enough to play? There’s only one way to find out. Apply today at this link and we’ll see if you have the skills to go pro!

MLTT Season 3? Bigger than EVER. ➕➕

We’ve got more big news to share than what’s going on in Pleasanton.

MLTT announced our third season will feature not eight, not nine, but 10 TEAMS. New team names and locations are still TBD; we’re fielding input from everyone. Drop a comment on our Instagram announcement if you’ve got major thoughts on MLTT’s 2025 expansion plans.

You can read more about those plans here. And if you know any qualified investors interested in team ownership, encourage them to email investors@mltt.com.

Are you following us yet? 📲

It might be chilly across the country in January — but MLTT Social is just heating up.

Just check out Princeton Revolution’s own Mathieu De Saintilan balling out — or snowballing out? — on an outdoor table over our midseason break.

What’s better than a chopper in MLTT? A chopper in MLTT in the snow.

MLTT will be factoring Mathieu’s snow skills into our next Power Rankings.

Make sure you give us a follow/subscription on Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and more or else you could be kept out in the cold.

A quick questionnaire 🗒

Are you a club owner or a player who helps manage a club?

We’ve got a quick questionnaire for you as we gear up for Season 3.

MLTT and MiLTT want to know how you run tournaments, what software you use, and more. We’re offering one MLTT tee-shirt to a randomly-selected owner or player who responds so get your answers in today!
