WTTC Interviews: Lin Yun-Ju

Posted on
  • Looking back at the 2021 WTTC Finals, how was the event for you?

Although the result was not good, the main point was to make the best use of the experience as I became aware of various techniques to improve during the tournament.

  • What is the reason of your losing against Lim Jonghoon?

I had expected it would be tough before the start of the match, but I did not anticipate he would be in such a good shape. I was able to recover by making adjustments late in the match, but he was better at the important moments.

  • You were the semi-finalist in the mixed doubles. What do you think of your result?

I think the third place is a result I can be proud of. I think the achievement will bring me confidence.

  • What is your impression on the first ever World Championships held in the Americas?

The event was held for the first time in the USA, it was my first visit. I felt everything was fresh for me. I would like to visit there again if there is a chance in the future.
