Question: I was just looking for a little guidance on a suitable racquet for my skill sets. This will be first racquet. I’m looking for something pre-assembled. I’m currently stationed overseas in the army and need something durable. I tend to play defensively until I can get a good setup for my forehand. Any tips will be greatly appreciated.

Answer: Hi Joshua,

Thank you for choosing Butterfly and specially thank you for serving our country.

Based on your comment about your style this is my suggestion about racket set up.

Timo Boll ALC for your blade it has control good and speed.
Tenergy 05 (2.1 thickness) for your forehand rubber so that when you get that good set up to attack you’ll generate good spin and speed with this rubber.
Tenergy 64 (1.9 thickness) for your backhand this rubber will continue to help and refine your defensive skills.

Thank you and I hope this helps.
