Butterfly Table Tennis Question and Answer

Blade: Timo Boll Spirit
Forehand: Tenergy 05
Backhand: Xiom Sigma Euro 2

Question: Hi,

Please let me what are the differences between the following blades in terms of speed, control and spin:
Timo Boll ALC, Timo Boll Spirit and Innerforce Layer ALC.

Thanks in advance,

Saeed

Answer:  Hello Saeed,

In answering your question in regards to the differences between these 3 ALC blades, here are my observations and suggestions.

The Innerforce ALC – this blade is probably the best all-round among the 3 blades in terms of balance between speed, control and feel.

Timo Boll ALC – this blade probably favors players of mid and away from table power looping / driving.

Timo Boll Spirit – this blade has a seemingly harder feel and has a higher speed.

It all depends on your expectation in terms of your style of play and what is more important to you.

Hope this helps

Sincerely,

Coach Chen
