Question:
My playing style is mostly looping forehand and blocking backhand. Between Innerforce Layer ALC and Viscaria, which one would you recommend for my playing style? And if I use Tenergy 05 for my forehand, can I still be able to loop like Chinese rubber? (I have never tried Tenergy rubber before). Thank you

This Ask the Experts question was answered by Judy Hugh. She is one of the coaches at the Lily Yip Table Tennis Center in New Jersey. Coach Hugh’s response is as follows:
Hi Tu,
I would recommend using the Viscaria, as it has more control, and would be good for blocking on your backhand.
Compared to Hurricane, Tenergy 05 will be faster, but maybe a little less spinny. However, Tenergy 05 is one of the best rubbers for the attacking and looping style. You will be able to adjust pretty easily.
