Bowmar Adherence Policies (BAP)

Effective April 1, 2025

Bowmar Sports is the authorized distributor for the Butterfly brand of table tennis equipment in North America and most of Latin America (see list below). Bowmar Sports believes that consumer loyalty is best developed when its products are sold through quality-based distribution channels by retailers dedicated to providing superior customer service and support.

Bowmar Sports has determined that retailers who advertise the sale of its products at a discount from Bowmar Sports’ Suggested Advertised Prices materially erode the quality of Bowmar Sports’ distribution channels and the value of Bowmar Sports’ trade names.

Additionally, Bowmar Sports believes that the advertisement of discounts below Bowmar Sports’ Suggested Advertised Prices encourages and facilitates one retailer’s ability to “free ride” on the service levels and investment of other retailers.

In consideration of the foregoing, it is the unilateral policy of Bowmar Sports that:

1. Bowmar Sports will maintain a list of Suggested Advertised Prices for certain products, which may change from time to time at Bowmar Sports’ discretion. Items observed under this policy are listed below.
2. Bowmar Sports may without prior notice terminate the supply of Butterfly products to retailers/accounts who:

a. Advertise Butterfly products for sale at a price below Bowmar Sports’ Suggested Advertised Prices (or advertise discounts, price reduction or giveaways that have the practical effect, in Bowmar Sports’ opinion, of reducing the actual advertised price; and/orb.

b. Use illegal, deceptive or unfair advertising and/or sales practices, that could reasonably have a negative impact on Bowmar Sports’ superior product image, including without limitation “bait and switch” tactics.

c. Produce or offer counterfeit/black-market Butterfly products.

d. Distribute products not purchased from Bowmar Sports. Items can be tracked via the product serial number. (As authorized distributor of the Butterfly brand in North America and most of Latin America, Bowmar Sports spends considerable energy and resources to promote and advertise the Butterfly brand in these regions.)

e. List Butterfly items on ‘Auction Sites’ below our Suggested Advertised Price.

f. Promote these items directly to their customers via electronic, print or other formats without stating Bowmar Sports’ Suggested Advertised Price. All products observed under this policy must be advertised with a dollar value greater than or equal to the Suggested Advertised Price.

g. Sell products directly or through a 3rd party that ships to countries not in Bowmar Sports’ territory. Countries that are okay to ship to are below. Your website should restrict Butterfly sales to the countries below.
