New Teams, New Faces – Your Draft Recap Is Here!

(by: Major League Table Tennis)

The Picks Are In… ✔️

Two new teams. Two roster-defining picks.
One draft that shaped the next chapter of MLTT.

2025 MLTT Draft

The Atlanta Blazers kicked off a new era with the first overall pick, selecting Yuya Oshima, a world-class player known for his explosive speed and fierce forehand. A former World Tour Grand Finals Champion and silver medalist at the World Championships in doubles, Oshima brings international star power to the MLTT stage.

The New York Slice kept the energy high, selecting Koki Niwa with the No. 2 pick. An Olympic medalist and one of the most dynamic players in the game, Niwa is known for his quick hands and ability to break open a match at any moment.

With both expansion teams making statement picks at the top, the rest of the draft kept the momentum rolling – locking in all ten rosters for MLTT Season 3.

Here’s how the rest of the first round shook out:

Atlanta Blazers – Yuya Oshima, Japan
New York Slice – Koki Niwa, Japan
Portland Paddlers – Min Hyeok Kim, South Korea
Princeton Revolution – Cho Seung Min, South Korea
LA Spinners

Bay Area Blasters – Huang Yan Cheng, Taiwan
Chicago Wind – Robert Gardos, Austria
Bay Area Blasters – Ge Chi, China
Texas Smash – Joao Montiero, Portugal
