To execute a loop with proper technique, the player should back up a little and should lower the paddle hand.  When the ball clears the table, lift the paddle to create spin with the touch being a thin rub/brush on the top half of the ball between the middle and the top.
Close the paddle (reducing the angle below 90 degrees) to control the arch of the ball.  At the same time, the player’s feet need to push up from the floor, the body needs to rotate.  This all helps the hand to brush the ball, creating spin with power.  After striking the ball, both feet need to bounce on the floor 2-3 times as the player prepares to execute the next stroke.
The bouncing technique makes it easier to move in case the next ball lands in a different place on the table.  Also, without the bouncing, the power of the next stroke will be limited.  Watch the location of the next ball, bounce the feet as one moves to a suitable position for next loop.
