Upcoming Tournament 2023 USATT California State Championships (Over $6000 Prize)

ENTRY DEADLINE: October 2, 2023

DATES: 7-9 October

RATING RULES:

  • Event eligibility will be determined by rating list generated on September 9, 2023
  • The most recent rating will be used for seeding.

PLAYING FORMAT

Event will start with a RR group of 3-4 players, followed by singles elimination playoff. All matches are best of 5 to 11 points, except the semi-final and final of the Men and Women’s Singles which will be played best of 7 games. The Tournament Director reserves the right to directly seed players into the single elimination event bracket draw based on USATT Ratings

ELIGIBILITY

The event is for CA residents only, including students studying in CA. US citizenship is not required. USATT membership is required and must be valid through the date of the
tournament ($25/yr or more). Details on USATT membership can be found on USATT website.

DEFAULTS

The tournament referee has the authority to determine a default.

ENTRY FEES

  • $48-$68 per event, details find on event schedule.
  • $10 off per event for early bird entries paid by September 1
  • $15 registration fee
  • $15 late fee to enter after the entry deadline if space permits.

CANCELLATION

  • Entry fees will be fully refunded if an event is cancelled due to insufficient signups.
  • A withdrawal request received by September 22 is eligible for a refund. Email us at accounting@ttamerica.org to request a refund. A processing fee of $20 will be deducted from a refund.

EQUIPMENT

  • BALLS: Nittaku Premium 40+ Balls, White TABLES: Butterfly Centrrefold 25
  • NETS: Butterfly Europa Net
  • FLOORING: Rubberized floor on all courts Player rackets are subject to random testing for volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
  • Clothing must be mainly non-white.
