Blade: TB ALC
Backhand Rubber: Tenergy 05

Question: Hi Coach! With the release of the newer Innerforce Layer ALC.s, would you say this is the improved Innerforce ALC or a totally different blade that will suit specific players? Kindly give an advice who should get the Innerforce Layer ALC and who should get the ALC.S based on the playing style of a player. Thank you.

Hi Richard,

Thanks for your question and interest in Butterfly equipment.

The Innerforce Layer ALC.S is more stable and offers more control than the Innerforce ALC blade. The thinner ALC.S version makes it easier to control topspin shots and creates slightly higher ball trajectories compared to the original ALC.

I recommend the Innerforce ALC.S blade to offensive topspin oriented, mid distance players who look for more control while attacking.
