Denver Table Tennis Alliance Hosted Another Successful Tournament

Denver Table Tennis Alliance hosted another successful tournament at Englewood Rec Center! 

It was a great day of fun and fierce competition at Englewood Rec Center last Saturday, August 10th, where Denver Table Tennis Alliance held its second tournament. The event was fully booked in all three divisions, with players coming from various cities and clubs across Colorado to showcase their skills and passion for table tennis.

The winners in all 3 divisions won a set of 2 brand new Butterfly rubbers, and all runners up won 1 brand new Butterfly rubber, with all of them matching the rubbers they played the tournament with!

In A Division,

Winner – Priya Venkateraman

Runner up – Basil Ibegbu

In B Division,

Winner – Igor Tsalyuk

Runner up – Tanmay Jain

In C Division,

Winner – Roberto Taguibao

Runner up – Joseph Krueger

DTTA also wants to let all TT players in Colorado know that our table tennis program for Open Play (and Group-Lessons for beginners every day we open) is held at Englewood Rec Center on:

Tuesdays & Thursdays from 6pm to 9pm, and

Saturdays from 2pm to 5pm.

DTTA is grateful to Sara Stant and the Englewood Rec Center staff for their cooperation and support in making our second tournament at their facility a wonderful success. Thank you, guys!

Lastly, we want to thank all participants who joined DTTA’s 2nd Tournament at ERC, as well as the friends and families who came to cheer for their loved ones and added to the fun and excitement of the tournament day!
